About this agreement
The Bookshaper affiliate program is operated by Bookshaper LLC, a Texas limited liability company. Throughout this document, “Bookshaper”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to that entity. By joining the program, you agree to these Terms.
The short version
A one-time bounty for every paid subscription you bring in: $15 for a Basic-plan subscriber, $25 for a Pro-plan subscriber, rising to $25 / $40 once you reach Elite creator status. There is no recurring percentage and no duration window: you are paid once per conversion.
Every approved affiliate receives a personalized discount code. Your audience gets 15% off their first three months when they use it at checkout, and the redemption credits the conversion to you.
Monthly payouts are made via PayPal or Wise once you have earned $50 or more. The program is application-based, not self-serve.
Eligibility
At launch, the Bookshaper affiliate program is open to US-based creators only. International applications are paused while we set up cross-border tax and disclosure compliance — we’re committed to opening internationally and will email our notify list when we do. Email affiliates@bookshaper.com to be added.

How It Works
Apply through the form at bookshaper.com/affiliates. We review your audience and approve within 5 business days. You get a personalized discount code on approval. Customers who use your code at Stripe Checkout are credited to you, with no cookie or browser dependency. You earn a one-time bounty for each paid conversion, and we pay out monthly on the 15th for the prior month’s approved earnings once you have crossed $50.
Commission Structure
Bookshaper pays a flat, one-time bounty per paid conversion — not a recurring percentage. Standard creators earn $15 for Basic and $25 for Pro. Elite creators earn $25 for Basic and $40 for Pro. Elite status is unlocked after 10 or more paid conversions within a rolling 90-day window and remains permanent.
Comped Subscription
Every approved affiliate gets a free Bookshaper subscription while active. A single tracked conversion in any rolling 12-month window keeps it free. It lapses only after a full year of zero conversions, with advance warning. Your work remains yours if the comp lapses.
Attribution Policy
Attribution is based on discount-code redemption at Stripe Checkout. There is no cookie or browser dependency. First redemption wins, and self-referrals are not eligible for a bounty.
Payouts
The minimum balance is $50 USD. Payouts are processed monthly on the 15th for the prior month’s approved earnings. Each bounty is held for 30 days after the initial charge. Payouts are made through PayPal or Wise in USD, and affiliates are responsible for their own taxes.
Refunds, Chargebacks & Clawbacks
Refunded, charged-back, or fraudulent conversions do not become payable and may be reversed or clawed back from future payouts.
What You Can Do
- Share your personalized discount code in videos, newsletters, podcast descriptions, blog posts, or social.
- Create honest reviews, comparisons, tutorials, and recommendations featuring Bookshaper.
- Use the assets we provide or create your own.
What You Can’t Do
- Do not bid on Bookshaper brand terms in paid search.
- Do not run ads impersonating Bookshaper.
- Do not incentivize signups or use spam.
- Do not post on coupon or cashback sites without approval.
- Do not misrepresent the product or pricing.
- Do not share your code with people who would have subscribed without your audience.
FTC Disclosure Requirement
The FTC’s Endorsement Guides require you to disclose your material connection to Bookshaper clearly and conspicuously whenever you endorse, recommend, or promote the product. Use direct language such as “This post contains an affiliate link” or “#ad”. Do not bury disclosures, hide them behind a click, or use vague coded language.
Term, Renewal & Changes
Participation is month-to-month. Either party may terminate with 7 days’ written notice. We may modify these Terms with 30 days’ notice to active affiliates; changes apply to conversions after the effective date.
Termination
Bookshaper may terminate participation for violating the program rules, damaging the brand, extended inactivity, or fraud. Legitimate pending bounties remain payable on the next cycle; clawed-back bounties do not. Affiliates may leave at any time.
